Thinking out of the box

Many professors say to do this. Many say to apply it in real life. Many practice this to solve complex problems .And many do this to make simple things complicated.It is simple. what we call as thinking out of the box.

It will make a person strange when he hears it for the first time. He/she will be thinking that he needs to think somewhere and something as he was asked to do so by his peers. obviously it is correct. we need to do some extra thinking or the so-called lateral thinking which will enable us to completely analyse the entire situation.instead of going by the old ,same way we need to allow our mind to do some sort of thinking which ,when communicated to others will really ask the other person to think as if something is weird

When we were young we all are asked a common question.what do you want to become? the simple and the common answer will be doctor,engineers. because we think it is a safe career because we get to see a lot of money in our wallet in the future. we go by the same way. what others say we will do it. we had a herd mentality.

But thinking out the box has really made something special to India.A Yugoslavian woman coming to India and becoming a crusader of the poor would have only remained a dream or a frail lawyer becoming the spearhead of our independence movement would have seemed improbable. They did what they wanted to do, what they thought was right and what they thought they must do, not just for themselves but also for others.

It is obvious for anyone to identify the person who i have mentioned above .yes they just did that. They identified a new path,new way of thinking and got succeeded.

thinking out of the box! really does wonders when we really think out of the box

5 cancerous behaviors

After reading Stephen covey's magnum opus "7 habits of highly effective people", I was particularly interested in his next venture 8th habit.My excitement continued as i flipped through the pages of the book. even though i didn't complete it, I still grabbed the crux of the book . one of the interesting stuff that stuck me was about the five cancerous behaviors which Stephen covey mentioned in the book.

* comparing
* complaining
* contending
* criticizing
* competing

I think still a lot more can be added that too in the "C" category itself

*cheating
*cynicism
*copying
*carelessness

Is this stuff social networking?

I have my account in orkut,facebook,twitter. I joined for the main purpose of sharing knowledge and getting knowledge.

It is true that social networking websites have gained enormous importance given the fact that even businessmen have their own account.classic example is Anand Mahindra who often tweets.so does Richard Branson.

The so-called status of social networking has been completely changed, from knowledge sharing aspect to useless silly talks. i have seen lot of status updates completely bullshit.

some of the useless stuff i have come across really upsets me given the fact that social networking is a wonderful tool for businesses to market their products & services .they use it to communicate with their customers.

some of the status updates i have seen keeps me in awkward situations and i land up in my mind not to login the next time.
"its raining now", "I am bored", "I am completely depressed" ,"feels orkut boring ","going to sleep" etc are the updates i have come across

Who listens to such stuff is a question to be asked. A new rule or such related stuff should be introduced to prevent such bizarre situations

Is this why social networking sites even exist?

The Curious case of Sweat equity

It is very late for me to write on sweat equity at this point of time after all the drama got over at the end of this year IPL3. Actually it is a non-cricketing term used in this year ipl off the field. so i took time for research activities on sweat equity and i am blogging it.

Put it simply,sweat equity are shares issued by a company to its employees or directors at a discount or for consideration other than cash.Every company can issue sweat equity.It is to reflect the value of services which an executive or an employee adds to his/her organization( present,past & future )

"Coming up with compelling plots a little bit inspiration and a lot of sweat equity"

Now coming to the recent controversies surrounding this so-called "sweat equity". Rendezvous consortium,an unregistered venture had won the franchise for the Kochi team which will take part in ipl4.It offered 4.75% stake in the kochi team (70 crore) to Dubai-based businesswoman,Sunanda Pushkar,a friend of Sashi tharoor.this started the sweat equity controversy.
According to rules,a company can issue sweat equity shares only on the completion of a year after being entitled to commence its business.(REndezvous started in august 2009,IPL auction March 2010).Issuance of sweat equity shares during a year cannot exceed 15% of paid up equity share capital or 5-crore whichever is higher.A separate resolution has to be passed.

The issue of sweat equity to Sunanda Pushkar is illegal& is in clear violation of companies act.the penalty though may be a paltry fine .

Thanks to sweat equity controversy as the people can know about a new term
