Is it an overseas opportunity or a burden?

Its been a year and half since i am posting this blog after i moved to the busy corporate world from enjoyable college days.To start the blog after a year and so, i came across lot of hot topics to actually blog it.finally i zeroed onto the overseas shackles faced by the Indian players. all of you might have got it.yes,the India's tour of Australia

Well they say that India has the knack of losing the first match whenever they play overseas and many experts have told clearly that India will bounce back when they toured England and Australia they lost the first match and the usual critics said India will bounce back.but it didn't happen for the two series.

Indian players have always been picked upon their performance in IPL, Ranji and local domestic competitions. Indian seniors have aged. they are in ageing process. To put in a CA'S words they are now bad debts.They have to written off from the India's line up.

Thinking out of the box

Many professors say to do this. Many say to apply it in real life. Many practice this to solve complex problems .And many do this to make simple things complicated.It is simple. what we call as thinking out of the box.

It will make a person strange when he hears it for the first time. He/she will be thinking that he needs to think somewhere and something as he was asked to do so by his peers. obviously it is correct. we need to do some extra thinking or the so-called lateral thinking which will enable us to completely analyse the entire situation.instead of going by the old ,same way we need to allow our mind to do some sort of thinking which ,when communicated to others will really ask the other person to think as if something is weird

When we were young we all are asked a common question.what do you want to become? the simple and the common answer will be doctor,engineers. because we think it is a safe career because we get to see a lot of money in our wallet in the future. we go by the same way. what others say we will do it. we had a herd mentality.

But thinking out the box has really made something special to India.A Yugoslavian woman coming to India and becoming a crusader of the poor would have only remained a dream or a frail lawyer becoming the spearhead of our independence movement would have seemed improbable. They did what they wanted to do, what they thought was right and what they thought they must do, not just for themselves but also for others.

It is obvious for anyone to identify the person who i have mentioned above .yes they just did that. They identified a new path,new way of thinking and got succeeded.

thinking out of the box! really does wonders when we really think out of the box

5 cancerous behaviors

After reading Stephen covey's magnum opus "7 habits of highly effective people", I was particularly interested in his next venture 8th habit.My excitement continued as i flipped through the pages of the book. even though i didn't complete it, I still grabbed the crux of the book . one of the interesting stuff that stuck me was about the five cancerous behaviors which Stephen covey mentioned in the book.

* comparing
* complaining
* contending
* criticizing
* competing

I think still a lot more can be added that too in the "C" category itself

*cheating
*cynicism
*copying
*carelessness
